Case Presentation:
35 y/o woman, at a walk-in clinic appointment
asks for a refill of thyroid hormone replacement. She was prescribed whole thyroid extract
at 120 mg/day by another physician to treat her chronic fatigue.
She says she doesn't want blood tests because she uses her symptoms
to monitor her therapy and says that her usual doctor said this was OK.
